The City of Terril provides service
for water, sewer, garbage and recycling. Here are
a few things you might want to know about your utility service:
Water meters are read around the 22nd of
each month. Utility bills are mailed out the first working
day of each month and are payable by the 10 th of the month.
Bills not paid by the 10 th will be considered delinquent,
a penalty added and disconnection proceedings are started.
We do have 3 convenient payment options:
- Automatic withdrawal from your account at The State
Bank, Terril.
- Drop your payment in the drop box located just to the
right of the front door of the Fire Station/City
Hall.
- Mail your payment to the address at the bottom of this
page.

A deposit for utility service will be required
before service is connected. Any remainder will
be paid to the renter at such time as you leave town and
the final utility bill is paid in full.
Garbage pick-up is every Thursday morning.
For your convenience, Terril offers citizens a 5 compartment (Plastic, Glass,
Tin, Newspaper & Cardboard) recycling bin located at the corner of N 3rd
Street and Main Street.
